Hedges
need not be boring. They can be as unusual, smelly, flowery,
tasty, pretty, spiky or utilitarian as you want. Some might
think it messy, but I was inspired by this simple garden
hedge in Dunedin which uses all sorts of things to make
an interesting boundary:
